Happy Thursday everyone!!! And do you know what that means? It is time for our #thursdaycoachintroductions 👊💥 How about today we introduce you to Commander Meghen. Here's a quick look at this great girl!

We asked her the following 12 questions.

1. What is your Favorite WOD? Any WOD that I don’t die is my favorite

2. What is your least Favorite WOD? Annie--those Double unders made into singles (3x) were a beast.

3. If you could be a superhero who would it be and why? Natasha aka Black widow. She is calculated in her moves, self assured, confident, intelligent and doesn't take crap from anyone.

4. Kill Cliff, Fit Aid, or I just drink whatever I can do recover? I drink Rehydrate and lots of water.

5. Why did you want to become a CrossFit Coach? To change the image of being healthy. It isn’t about a pant size it’s about strength and feeling.

6. Biggest accomplishment as a CrossFit athlete to this date? I competed in my first Festivus Team competition last October.

7. Most humbling point of your CrossFit journey as of today? There was a time when I was the last one to finish a WOD. Even though I was dead last, I had fellow athletes pushing me through. I realized on this CrossFit journey, you are not alone.

8. What is a surprising talent most people don’t know about you? I have an orange belt in kickboxing. 

9. Reebok, Nike or I just like to buy shoes? And then best pair of shoes you have owned and why. I love to buy shoes but hate to wear them! I rather be barefooted or in flip flops.

10. Fav cheat meal food. Mexican! Chips, salsa and queso…..yummmm!!!!

11. Paleo, Zone, or I just eat what is put in front of me? I do not follow one particulator diet..I will eat what I like in moderation.

12. If you could go back to the start of your CrossFit journey what would you tell yourself? Its ok to fail. You are your only competition not anyone else.

Rest/Active Recovery Day


-Do 10 minutes of active warmup; Inchworm, wall walks, double under work, 200-400m run

-Do Crossover Symmetry for 15 minutes.

-Pick a skill and work on it for 15 minutes; double unders, HSPU, Pull ups etc. 

-Do mobility for 15 minutes: 5 minutes light rowing/bike, 5 minutes of foam rolling, and 5 minutes of band work. 

*if you just completed the 55 minute cycle this is an active recovery day.
