Happy Thursday everyone!!! And do you know what that means? It is time for our #thursdaycoachintroductions 👊💥 How about today we introduce you to our Co-Owner and Coach Lee. Here's a quick look at this great girl! We asked her the following 12 questions!


1.     What is your Favorite WOD?

3.     If you could be a superhero who would it be and why?

I have always thought of my Dad as my superhero.  He is a phenomenal human being.  From the age of 12, he has worked night and day and always provided for his whole family.  Whether it is rebuilding a classic car, fixing up a house, or refinishing furniture, he can do anything he puts his mind to.  Super proud to have him for my Dad.  My Mum is pretty awesome too.

5.     Why did you want to become a CrossFit Coach?

To change lives.  Growing up, I was never picked for a sports team because I was the quiet kid at the back of the class.  Finding CrossFit has helped me gain so much confidence, and passing on my knowledge to others is so rewarding.

6.     Biggest accomplishment as a CrossFit athlete to this date?

Pull-ups.  Never thought I would have the strength to pull myself up over the bar, let alone perform dead hang pull-ups.

7.     Most humbling point of your CrossFit journey as of today?

After years of doing CrossFit, there is still so much more to learn. 

8.     What is a surprising talent most people don’t know about you?

Before moving here from England, I played classical piano for 9 years.  My teacher, Mrs. Piggott used to play piano in the silent movies.  She was in her 80’s and very sharp.

9.     Reebok, Nike or I just like to buy shoes? And then the best pair of shoes you have owned and why. Reebok Nanos.  I like the 2.0’s.  So comfy.  It’s like wearing a pair of slippers.

10.  Fav cheat meal food. 

My Mum’s roast dinners complete with roasted potatoes and gravy.  Of course, it has to be followed by either homemade rice pudding or apple pie and custard.   I am salivating while typing this.  After all it is a cheat meal.

11.  Paleo, Zone, or I just eat what is put in front of me?

Moderation is the key for me.  

12.  If you could go back to the start of your CrossFit journey what would you tell yourself?

I wish I would have found CrossFit when I was in my 20’s.  It really is a life changer.  That being said, gains don’t happen overnight.  Be patient, be consistent, and the gains will come.

Rest/Active Recovery Day


-Do 10 minutes of active warmup; Inchworm, wall walks, double under work, 200-400m run

-Do Crossover Symmetry for 15 minutes.

-Pick a skill and work on it for 15 minutes; double unders, HSPU, Pull ups etc. 

-Do mobility for 15 minutes: 5 minutes light rowing/bike, 5 minutes of foam rolling, and 5 minutes of band work. 

*if you just completed the 55 minute cycle this is an active recovery day.
