How about today we introduce you to Coach Levi. Here's a quick look at this great guy!

We asked him the following 12 questions.

1. What is your Favorite WOD? "Linda"

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps for time

-Deadlift (1.5 bodyweight)

-Bench Press (body weight)

-Clean (3/4 body weight)

2. What is your least Favorite WOD? CrossFit Open workout 14.5

21-18-15-12-9-6-3 reps of Thrusters & barbell burpees

The first time I did this, I literally puked.    

3. If you could be a superhero who would it be and why? Batman - Under the cowl, he is just a man with no superpowers.  He represents the courage, intelligence, and strength it takes to face our fears, our supervillains, and our problems.  

4. Kill Cliff, Fit Aid, or I just drink whatever I can do recover? Protein shake w/ Almond milk

5. Why did you want to become a CrossFit Coach? Honestly, it was selfish reasoning. I knew starting down the coaching path it would force me to focus on my technique and push me out of my comfort zone.

6. Biggest accomplishment as a CrossFit athlete to this date? I’m stronger now than I’ve ever been, and I’m only getting stronger.  Handstand walks are pretty cool too.

7. Most humbling point of your CrossFit journey as of today? I’m humbled every day.  Every day that I exercise, I see others within Rare who move better, faster and lift more than me.  It takes a lot of effort and determination (and Motrin) to try and keep up with a lot of you.

8. What is a surprising talent most people don’t know about you? I love solving puzzles like the rubrics cube.

9. Reebok, Nike or I just like to buy shoes? I’ve owned both Reebok Nanos and Nike Metcons. My favorite shoes are Reebok Nano v5.  They are durable, have a wide toe box, and are comfortable.

10. Fav cheat meal food. Beer

11. Paleo, Zone, or I just eat what is put in front of me? I believe zone is the most sustainable and generates the best results.  

12. If you could go back to the start of your CrossFit journey what would you tell yourself? Focus on your diet!

Rest/Active Recovery Day


-Do 10 minutes of active warmup; Inchworm, wall walks, double under work, 200-400m run

-Do Crossover Symmetry for 15 minutes.

-Pick a skill and work on it for 15 minutes. Work on exposed skill from the open. 

-Do mobility for 15 minutes: 5 minutes light rowing/bike, 5 minutes of foam rolling, and 5 minutes of band work. 

*if you just completed the 55 minute cycle this is a active recovery day
