Wednesday – All You Got
“All we want…is All you got!” ~ Adam Eidson
I was thinking about this quote after classes Tuesday and what I mean by it. Sometimes having to do more than what you think your best is, other times, doing maybe a little less than what you think your best is. The point is…no matter how you feel…we just want you to give us your best…no more…no less. Your best will always be good enough for us.
When you hear this, how do you relate to it – both the quote and how it relates to your life?

Wednesday’s Workout
AMRAP in 12 minutes:
10 x Overhead Squats (95 lbs / 65 lbs)
20 x Lateral Jumps over Bar Burpees
15 x Double Unders
-then-
3 x 1 minute Plank Holds

The ability to give the best I got is my daily mantra/prayer/thought. I think about it at my job, as a parent,at RARE, etc. If I can give my best, without annoying negative thinking to get in the way,and to be “Present” in whatever I am doing, that’s all that I can do. It’s not easy at the gym to remember that YOUR best is, well, your best. But so very important.
The other simple cue last night was from David — last run he said “run lightly” as I was headed out the door. I liked that — made me even feel lighter to think about that!
